By of the Journal Sentinel A longtime nonprofit agency that operates programs for low-income families in Milwaukee has found a new, smaller home on the city's north side. The Social Development Commission plans to move to a site on North Ave. in the Walnut Way neighborhood in early February, the agency announced Friday. The group that owns and manages properties for the nonprofit, SD Properties, finalized the purchase of the property, which is located at 1730 W. North Ave., late Thursday.
